Framingham Surpasses 3,800 COVID Cases; 130 New & 772 Active Cases in the City

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 130 new COVID-19 cases since Friday..

There have been 630 cases i the City since Thanksgiving.

Since the pandemic, there have been 160 deaths.

Framingham has had a total of 3,836, coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The good news is 2,904 individuals have recovered. which is about 81% of those who were diagnosed with COVID.

Active cases in the City of Framingham increased from 721 to 772.

Individuals in quarantine are up from 326 to 344.

 SOURCE published information about the new COVID testing site at Framingham State last week.

There is a free drive-thru COVID testing site at TJX Headquarters, off Route 30, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has hired Fallon Ambulance to run the testing site as part of the state’s Stop the Spread campaign.

There is also a free testing site at SMOC HQ at 7 Bishop Street from 3 to 6 p.m. It is walk-up only with limited parking.
