FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced the Stop the Spread free COVID-19 testing site will be closed on Saturday, due to the winter storm watch issued.

That means there will be no free COVID testing available in the City of Framingham this weekend. The SMOC site is only open on weekedays.

SOURCE has learned that there will be a new COVID free testing site at Framingham State University’s parking lot later this month. The City has not yet announced details on the site. It is expected to be by appointment when it opens.

Framingham announced 191 new COVID cases since Wednesday. This week the City has announced 499 new cases.

Since the pandemic began, Framingham had more than 3,700 cases.
