FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man on a marijuana distribution charges on the morning of November 19, after he was stopped for driving a vehicle with no driver’s license.

Arrested was Diego Vasquez, 19, of 15 Georgetown Drive in Framingham.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with no license and possession to distribute Class D drug (marijuana).

The Framingham police officer “knew that the owner of the car had no license, due to a previous encounter,” said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The officer “checked the registry data and confirmed no license,” she added.

The officer “stopped the vehicle for that violation,” said the Lietuenant.

The officer “observed a large plastic bag with large amount of ‘green leafy substance’,” said Lt. Grigas.

The police did an inventory of the car prior to towing it, said the police spokesperson.

Police located “2 large boxes vape cartridges, several empty boxes of vape cartridges, a scale and baggies,” in addition to what is believed to be marijuana.

Police did not note how much marijuana was found.

In Massachusetts, individuals may possess 1 oz. or have 10 oz. at home legally.
