1 Tonight is the 125th Annual Meeting & Gala of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Yvonne Spicer is one of the guest speakers.

Today is is National Entrepreneurship Day and November is National Entrepreneur Month.

2. Keefe Technical High School will hold a parent meeting tonight on its new hybrid education plan it wants to roll out after Thanksgiving.

3. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has a Zoom community hour at 5 p.m. on the new Sustainability Commission created by the City Council in October.

Although not on her public schedule, the Mayor will accept an award at 6 p.m. and speak at the Chamber at 7 p.m. Her presence has also been requested at the City Council meeting tonight, as well.

4. CITY OF FRAMINGHAM meetings (all held virtually):

  • Framingham City Council: Appointments Subcommittee at 6:30 p.m.
  • Framingham Traffic Commission at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham City Council at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Community Development Committee at 7 p.m.

5. COVID cases tied to Stapleton Elementary, King Elementary & McAuliffe Charter schools announced since Sunday.

There is a free drive-thru COVID testing site at TJX Headquarters, off Route 30, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has hired Fallon Ambulance to run the testing site as part of the state’s Stop the Spread campaign.

There is also a free testing site at SMOC HQ at 7 Bishop Street from 3 to 6 p.m. It is walk-up only with limited parking.
