FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 69 new COVID-19 cases since Veterans Day, November 11.

That is 289 new cases since Halloween weekend.

Since the pandemic, there have been 153 deaths in the City of Framingham.

The state has designated Framingham as a high-risk community for COVID-19 since late August.

Last week, the state changed its metrics and Framingham went from a red community to a yellow community.

That change is deceiving as Framingham started the month of November at 11 cases per day, increased to 15.6 cases per day last Friday and is at 23.1 cases per day this week.

Framingham has had a total of 2,899. coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The good news is 2,425 individuals have recovered. which is 84% of those who were diagnosed with COVID.

Active cases in the City of Framingham increased from 267 on Wednesday to 321

Individuals in quarantine increased from 187 to 196.
