FRAMINGHAM – Loring Arena will re-open on Saturday, after a two-week shut down.

The Governor of Massachusetts ordered all rinks in the state closed after an increase of coronavirus cases due to youth hockey.

The City’s spokesperson said Loring will re-open on Saturday but those “using Loring will need to be masked, and the only ones allowed in the arena will be those who intend to be on the ice.”

The City’s spokesperson said in the case of “youth sports, a coach will be allowed to be present. Everyone entering will fill out a contact form if there is a need for tracing.”
