“This pandemic has caused immense feelings of isolation and loneliness especially among the elderly” said Karen Block Program Specialist of Jewish Family Service of Metrowest. Knowing they’ve served our country, we should take advantage of any opportunity- not just on Veteran’s Day, but every day to thank them for their sacrifice and let them know they have not been forgotten.”
“As a veteran myself, I am very proud that our staff and volunteers will be part of this event,” said Lino Covarrubias, Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Family Service of Metrowest. “Thank you to Big Cake Boston and all of the coordinators for honoring our community’s service members!”
Big Cake Boston is a mobile celebration service provided by Framingham-based Craig Sutton Entertainment and featuring The Big Cake, a 3-tier 4’ tall prop cake and serves as an impressive centerpiece for drive-by celebrations, parades and events of significance in a socially-distanced contact-free manner.
