Earlier this year, Malone agreed to take a temporary pay cut in her $190,000 annual salary while the Town of Natick was dealing with the financial fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, Malone never said publicly how much she was willing to take as a pay cut.

Malone was the chief operating officer for the City of Providence in Rhode Island before coming to Natick. She had only held that job for 10 months.

Malone has a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy & religious studies from Trinity College. She received her law degree from the University of Connecticut in 2005.
