FRAMINGHAM – The Learning Center for the Deaf announced today, October 22, Chief Executive Officer Sarah Glenn-Smith has been appointed to the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW).

Glenn-Smith earned her Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration at State University of New York at Buffalo, and both a Masters and Doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She has been an RID certified sign language interpreter, CI/CT, since 2003. 

She also serves on the the board of Center for Assessment of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLI) as Treasurer.

The Commission is a state-established body charged with reviewing the status of women in Massachusetts and offering recommendations regarding policy that would improve access to opportunities and equality.
