FRAMINGHAM – Felix Torres is the City of Framingham’s new Fire Marshal, in charge of the Fire Prevention Division.

He was promoted to deputy chief on June 15.

Torres became a firefighter in Framingham on March 6, 1989.

He was promoted to Lietutenant on February 15, 2015.

He was promoted to captain on December 12, 2016.

He was made a temporary deputy chief on March 19, 2020, and made permanent on June 15 of this year.

“I’m excited to have Deputy Torres as part of the Administrative team.  He brings many years of fire service experience and a positive attitude every day,” said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher, who was made chief earlier this year.
