Framingham Extinguishes Route 30 Car Fire

FRAMINGHAM – Firefighters extinguishes a car fire on Route 30 Wednesday night.

“Around 7:30 last night Engine 2 was dispatched to a fully involved car fire at Cochituate Road & Speen Street,” said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher. “Fire was quickly extinguished.”

Chief Dutcher said the cause was “accidental, most likely starting in the engine compartment.”

The fire chief said the “car is a total loss.”
