FRAMINGHAM – Patricia Bentley (Broderick), 76 years old, of Framingham, MA & Venice, FL, passed away on October 7, 2020. 

Patricia was the loving wife of 51 years to John C. Bentley

Patricia was born in Brighton, on March 23, 1944 to the late Pearl (Franz) and Thomas P. Broderick, the second of three children.   

She was a devoted homemaker raising their three children in their Weston, home of 30 years which she and John built together. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bentley of Framingham, daughter, Linda Bentley Gillespie, and husband, David Gillespie, of Newton, and son, John Patrick Bentley, and wife, Kathleen Bentley of Apex, NC.    

Patricia cherished and adored her five grandchildren: Lila, Sonia, Patrick, Elena and Rory.  

She is also survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Suzanne Broderick of Centerville.  And her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Linda Bentley of Concord; Joseph and Maureen Bentley of Venice, FL; Kenneth Bentley of Maynard, and Noreen and William Maher of Venice, FL.  One sister, Nancy, pre-deceased, Patricia. 

Patricia loved and remained close with her cousins, her 14 nieces and nephews, her 15 grand- nieces and nephews spread around the country, and cousins in the Athenry area of County Galway, Ireland. 

Known by her family and friends as Tisha, she was an avid quilter and had a passion for sewing and painting and loved animals.  She was very active in community affairs in her winter home in Venice, FL.  She was a gentle and loving spirit who was always taking care of her children and grandchildren, friends, neighbors, and family. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2-4 p.m.

At the family’s request, there will be no formal funeral services.
