30th Annual Pies on Common Cancelled; First Parish Hosting Virtual Fundraiser

FRAMINGHAM – “For 29 years, First Parish in Framingham has held a crafts fair and fun family event called Pies on the Common. This year, which would have been the 30th year for the fundraiser, we will not be able to,” said First Parish in Framingham church Administrator Sara Morrison Neil.

“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pies on the Common will not take place on the Framingham Common. Large gatherings on the Common are prohibited. Out of an abundance of caution for pie bakers, volunteers and pie buyers we will not be selling pies,” she said.

First Parish has started a virtual fundraising campaign and if individuals would like to show their support, they can donate online at https://fpframingham.breezechms.com/give/online?fund_id=606005.
