FRAMINGHAM – Framingham firefighters extracted a man from a vehicle after a crash on the Mass Pike on Sunday evening, September 27,

Firefighters were dispatched around 6;30 p.m. for a motor vehicle crash between a car and a tractor trailer. 

Tower 1, Engine 7, Rescue 1 & Ambulance 2 responded to the scene.

“Tower 1, first fire company on scene, found passenger vehicle on its side with a 36-year-old male entrapped,” said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Firefighter “extricated patient in approximately 12 minutes.  ,” said Dutcher.

He was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with unknown injuries, said the Chief.
