FRAMINGHAM – The following is a list of road construction projects in the City of Framingham including Framingham DPW, state projects, and utility work.
All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.
As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.
Work is weather permitting.
Beaver Street Bridge opened earlier this month but there are still punch list items, according to Framingham DPW. Motorists should expect minor delays at times.
Bosworth Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas main and services on Bosworth Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.
Cedar Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue installing gas service lines on Cedar Street. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.
Eversource Gas Corrosion Prevention: Eversource Gas will continue installing corrosion prevention measures at various locations. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
Grant Street Road and Sidewalk Rehabilitation: Sidewalk and road rehabilitation continues on Grant Street (between Arthur Street and Clinton Street). A two-way/one-way traffic pattern will be in effect at times. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic. Expect moderate delays.
Hampden, Hillcrest, and Berkshire Water Main Replacement: The Water Division will continue installing water main on Hampden Road. Hampden Road will be accessible to residents and emergency vehicles at all times.
Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Utility poles will be set, and electrical wires will continue to be transferred in preparation for the intersection improvements project. Expect minor delays at times.
