1 Today is the 19th anniversary of September 11.

The City of Framingham will hold a private ceremony to mark the 17 lives lost with ties to the City on September 11, 2001

The Massachusetts 9/11 Fund will hold virtual ceremonies.

2. A drive-thru free COVID testing site at Staples HQ in Framingham opened last week and is free to anyone today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a walk-up free testing site at SMOC HQ on Bishop Street from 3 to 6 p.m.

The Baker-Polito administration begins providing assistance to the City of Framingham this weekend to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Framingham is one of 13 high-risk communities in the Commonwealth.

4. Framingham resident Brandale Randolph will discuss the The Rise of Social Entrepreneurs at the Framingham Public Library’s Brown Bag Learning Series event in September. The event will be today at noon on Zoom. Email brownbagprogram49@gmail.com by 9 a.m. on September 11, to receive an invitation to the Zoom session. The 1854 Cycling Company started as a small business in Framingham. The company was founded by Randolph, who is also the CEO.
