1 The City of Framingham is hosting an energy workshop in conjunction with Mass Save & Eversource today from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. to learn how you can cut utility costs and improve home comfort with Mass Save.

2. The Framingham Public Schools continues Chromebook distribution today. The first day of remote classes on September 16.

3. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings (all are remote unless noted):

  • Framingham School Committee: Policy Subcommittee 4 p.m.
  • City Council: Ordinance & Rules Subcommittee at 6 p.m.
  • Framingham Police Advisory Committee at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Human Relations Commission at 7 p.m.
  • Team Framingham meeting at 7 p.m.

According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer, she has no public events.

4. A drive-thru free COVID testing site at Staples HQ in Framingham opened last week and is free to anyone today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a walk-up free testing site at Amazing Things today from 3 to 6 p.m.

5. Framingham Farmers Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common.
