UPDATED: Divers Pull Missing Boater Out of Wellesley Pond

UPDATE: Divers pulled the missing boater from the pond, and placed him in the back of an ambulance where first responders continued to work to resuscitate him. His condition is not known at this time

WELLESLEY – Wellesley Police received a 9-1-1 call for a missing boater in Longfellow Pond this afternoon, September 7.

Police, Fire and multiple other agencies are currently working to locate this person in the pond.

The District 14 Dive Team, which includes Framingham & Ashland Fire, has been called into help with search.

Wellesley Police asked people to avoid the area of Oakland St, Standish Rd. and Longfellow Pond as crews continue to respond.
