FRAMINGHAM – The following are road construction projects this week in Framingham September 6-12, 2020.

the work includes Framingham DPW and utility work.

All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.

As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.

Beaver Street Bridge: Bridge work continues. Beaver Street Bridge will be closed to through traffic and pedestrians until Fall 2020. A detour will be in effect at all times.

Bosworth Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas main and services on Bosworth Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Cedar Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will begin installing gas service lines on Cedar Street. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Eversource Gas Corrosion Prevention: Eversource Gas will continue installing corrosion prevention measures at various locations. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Grant Street Road and Sidewalk Rehabilitation: Sidewalk and road rehabilitation continues on Grant Street (between Arthur Street and Clinton Street). A lane shift and/or detours will be in effect at times. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic. Expect moderate delays.

Hampden, Hillcrest, and Berkshire Water Main Replacement:
The Water Division will continue preparing Hampden Road for water main replacement. Hampden Road will be accessible to residents and emergency vehicles at all times.  

Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Utility poles will be set, and electrical wires will continue to be transferred in preparation for the intersection improvements project. Expect minor delays at times.
