1. Last week, Framingham was one of nine communities in the Commonwealth declared a high-risk coronavirus community.

The City is still seeking a drive-thru free testing location for the virus, but Health Director Sam Wong announced Thursday night a second walk-up testing site will open at SMOC headquarters on Bishop Street today from 3 to 6 p.m.

2. Framingham Health Director Dr. Wong discussed the hot spots in the City with the Board of Health last week.

Dr. Wong will do a Q&A with the Coronavirus Outreach Facebook group today at noon on COVID-19.

3. Today is International Opioid Overdose Awareness Day.  Framingham FORCE placed purple flags on the Framingham Centre Common.

4. City of Framingham meetings (all meetings will be held remotely unless noted):

  • Keefe School Committee at 7 p.m.

5. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has NO public events today.
