FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham is partnering with the South Middlesex Opportunity Council to provide a second free walk-up coronavirus testing site, announced Framingham Health Director Sam Wong tonight, August 27.

The new walk-up site, which will have limited parking, will open on Monday, August 31, said Wong.

It will be at SMOC headquarters on Bishop Street.

More details are expected to be announced on Friday, said Wong.

UPDATE: The City said the walk-up clinic will be available Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m. at 7 Bishop Street.

The City of Framingham currently has one walk-up testing site at Amazing Things Arts Center on Hollis Street. This site has no parking. It is openon Tuesday & Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m. It was closed today, August 27, due to the rain.

The City’s drive-thru testing site closed last Friday, August 21.

Wong said he is looking for a new drive-thru site still.

Wong said the City is still considering a third walk-up, free testing site for southeast Framingham.
