FRAMINGHAM – Bose will have a new CEO to start the month of September.
Former Pitney Bowes exec Lila Snyder will take over as Chief Executive Office, the first female CEO at the company.
Earlier this year, CEO Phil Hess resigned. The position has been vacant.
Snyder was president of global e-commerce at Pitney Bowes.
She earned master’s and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT, where Bose founder Amar Bose was a longtime professor.
