Even in this age of quarantine, sports podcasts are still running strong. Just ask these 4 Framingham High graduates. Andrew Keane, Brian O’Donnell, Nick Parga, and Luke Spring started a sports podcast, called the Big 4 Podcast.

The Big 4 Podcast is a podcast that talks about the 4 major sports, baseball, basketball, hockey, and football, with plenty of debate and discussion throughout.

They said of the podcast that “The four of us are avid sports fans, and can never have a conversation that doesn’t end in some kind of sports discussion or even a debate. The podcast gives us the chance to voice our debates to our family, friends, and classmates to show people what we got.”

When asked about what they talked about when there weren’t any live sports to discuss, they said that “Since the podcast started during the pandemic, we found ourselves arguing “what ifs” in sports and voicing predictions about the nba playoffs, mlb season, nhl playoffs and more. but it was definitely difficult to produce episodes with nothing going on.”

The 4 of them love to debate the NBA, especially because Nick is a Los Angeles Lakers fan, while Andrew, Luke, and Brian all like the Celtics better. “We just go at him. Those debates are always fun.”

While they might be on different pages when it comes to Basketball, all 4 of them are fans of the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins, but they still like to debate those sports as well, despite the fact that they aren’t enemies in that sense. In College, Andrew will play football for Husson University in Maine, and Nick will try to pursue baseball at Penn State. Luke and Brian will not pursue sports at college, deciding to end their careers at Framingham High School.
