FRAMINGHAM – Police arrested a man on Monday morning, after a report of a breaking & entering at a store in downtown Framingham.

Police received a report of an alarm at the food market on Hollis Street at 2:16 a.m.

When police arrived, they found damage to the front door of the market, according to Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

Officers found Matthew Spear, 36, of Framingham with cartons of cigarettes, said police.

Spear was arrested and charged with breaking & entering at night for felony larceny of a building.
