FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Girls Softball begins summer playoffs in the Twin Valley League tonight, August 18 against rival Natick.

The girls u-16 team, nicknamed Fury, are seeking to defend the title they won in the league last year with an undefeated season.

Lead by strong hitting from Amber Welch, Eden Manning, Sarah Spalti, and Ella Blaine, the team plays with great energy and passion.  

On the mound, Julia Matz and Kayla Goodridge seek to mow down opponents.

Game 1 of the playoffs is Tuesday, August 18 Framingham High School at 6 p.m.
