FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced the temporary closure of the on and off-ramps on Interstate 90 eastbound at exit 12 (Route 9) in Framingham.

The Mass Pike closures will take place overnight, Monday, August 10, Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

During the work, traffic looking to enter or exit I-90 eastbound at exit 12 will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and utilize exit 13 (Route 30, Natick/Framingham).

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
