MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough today, August 3 announced 6 new positive COVID-19 cases, over the weekend

The City is reporting a total of 1,043 cases, since the pandemic began.

The good news is that 948 individuals have recovered from the virus – that is more than 92%.

The City also announced its 66th death due to the virus, and the first death in more than two weeks.

Last month, the state announced Marlborough was one of the 8 hardest hit communities for the virus and free testing would be made available for all residents.

There are three free testing sites in Marlborough, including a mobile unit at one of the elementary schools.
