FRAMINGHAM – The Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW Framingham honored Framingham Police Officer Kathy McGrath with its First Responders Award today. It was presented to her by Commander of the VFW Post 929 Ingrid Centurion.

Officer McGrath, a school resource officer, also received a citation from the Massachusetts Senate for her dedicated public service with the Framingham Police Department.

Mayor Yvonne Spicer presented Officer McGrath with a certificate in recognition of her public service at the ceremony at Nevins Hall this afternoon, July 28.
