Framingham Reports 15 New Coronavirus Cases; Total 1,791

FRAMINGHAM – Today, July 27, the City of Framingham announced 15 residents have tested positive for COVID-19, since Friday. The City said it has 95 active cases of the coronavirus.

There have been a total of 1,791 coronavirus cases in the City of Framingham in 2020.

The good news is 1,576 individuals have recovered.

The City is reporting another COVID-19 deaths.

City now reporting 120 individuals have died from the COVID-19 or complications from the virus, since the pandemic began.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 14 residents in quarantine.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

So more than 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.

The City announced last month instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
