FRAMINGHAM – Juarez Pereira De Araujo, 72, of Framingham died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

He was the husband of Custódia Marcelina Pereira for the past 48 years.

Born, raised and educated in Mendes Pimentel, Minas Gerais, Brazil, son of João P. De Araújo and Benvinda P. Siqueira.

He was a bricklayer in Brazil and New England Stone Masonry for many years.

He was a member of the Church of São Tarcísio. He was a man dedicated to his family, who liked music, football and his friendships. He was a big fan of Cruzeiro Futebol Clube.

He was a hardworking man and with all his life’s difficulties he managed to raise and educate his children, setting an example of respect for others.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three children, Anderson de Araújo, Carlos André Pereira and Josimar de Araújo, all from Framingham; two daughters, Geovania A. De Oliveira and Juscileia Vaz, both from Framingham; a brother Camilo Dias from Brazil; a sister Julia de Araujo from Brazil; nine grandchildren, Letícia, Kevin, Matheus, Guilherme, Andrew, Victor, Ana Clara, Emanuelly and Samuel; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The schedule for the funeral will be held on Friday, July 24, from 9 am to 10:45 a.m., at St. Tarcisius Church, Waverly Street, Framingham. The mass of the present body will be held at 11 a.m in the Church of São Tarcísio.

The burial will take place at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Winthrop Street.
