FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating a bullet hole found in a van parked in a District 8 neighborhood in Framingham on Sunday night, July 19.

Police found a bullet hole in a van on Cedar Street around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Cedar Street is located in the Coburnville neighborhood of the City, south of Route 135.

Residents of the neighborhood told police they heard a loud noise the night before around 10:30 or 11 p.m., said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

No other information was available.

This was the second report of gunshots and damage by bullets in the City of Framingham in less than 2 hours on July 19.

Gunshots were report on Second Street in Framingham around 4:42 p.m.
