City of Framingham Announces 2 More COVID-19 Deaths

FRAMINGHAM – Today, July 17, the City of Framingham announced two residents have tested positive for COVID-19, since Wednesday

There have been a total of 1,756 coronavirus cases in the City of Framingham in 2020.

The good news is 1,558 individuals have recovered, as of Wednesday, July 15

The City is reporting two more COVID-19 deaths.

City now reporting 119 individuals have died from the COVID-19 or complications from the virus, since the pandemic began.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 73 residents in quarantine.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

So roughly, 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.

The City announced last month instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
