FRAMINGHAM – Today, July 13, the City of Framingham announced five residents have tested positive for COVID-19, since last Friday, July 10.

There have been a total of 1,752 coronavirus cases in the City of Framingham in 2020.

The good news is 1,524 individuals have recovered.

The City said 118 individuals have died from the COVID-19 or complications from the virus, since the pandemic began

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 78 residents in quarantine.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

So roughly, 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.

The City announced last month instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
