BETHLEHEM PENNSYLVANIA – Evan Chansky of Framingham has been awarded the University Service Award at Lehigh University in Spring 2020.
The University Service Award honors a senior whose influence, ideals and activities have been devoted unselfishly to serve the best interests of his/her Alma Mater and fellow students. The intangibles of character, loyalty and service, which go to make up this ideal Lehigh man or woman, are not always easy to ferret out and identify. It is for this reason that fellow students who know him or her most intimately are called upon, not only to recommend the candidate, but to support the recommendation with rather full statements as to just why they thing a particular candidate is most deserving of the award.
For more than 150 years, Lehigh University (lehigh.edu) has combined outstanding academic and learning opportunities with leadership in fostering innovative research. The institution is among the nation’s most selective, highly ranked private research universities. Lehigh’s five colleges – College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health, and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science – provides opportunities to 7,000+ students to discover and grow in an academically rigorous environment along with a supportive, engaged campus community.
