FRAMINGHAM – Today, July 10, the City of Framingham announced three residents have tested positive for COVID-19, since Wednesday.

There have been a total of 1,747 coronavirus cases in the City of Framingham in 2020.

The good news is 1,516 individuals have recovered.

The City said 118 individuals have died from the COVID-19 or complications from the virus.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 76 residents in quarantine.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

So roughly, 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.

The City announced last month instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
