FRAMINGHAM – The Hoops & Homework programs have re-opened in Framingham.

The programs had been closed since the pandemic began in March.

Founded by Herb Chasan, the Hoops and Homework offers academic and enrichment services to youth residing around the Beaver and Waverly Street areas. 

The program operates at two locations: Framingham Housing Authority’s site at Carlson and Pusan roads, and Cochituate Homes’ site at Interfaith Terrace. 

During the summer, the program is open 1-6 p.m. for childen ages 5-14.

The program is licensed through the Massachusetts Office of Early Education and Care.
