MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough announced no new coronavirus cases to start July.

The City is reporting a total of 988 cases, on July 1.

The good news is that 908 individuals have recovered from the virus.

The City reported its 60th and 61st death from the virus today.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested in the city of almost 40,000 people.

About 2.5% of the City’s residents have tested positive for the virus.

Middlesex County has the most positive cases, at more than 22,000.

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, with 1,700+ COVID-19 positive cases.

Marlborough is second.

The City last week said it will no longer report cases daily but update the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
