FRAMINGHAM – Today, June 26, the City of Framingham announced three more deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the virus.
That brings the City’s total of deaths to 113.
The City also reported six new positive coronavirus cases today.
Since the pandemic began, there have been a total of 1,725 in the City of Framingham.
Despite the slow down in cases compared to April, Framingham is still one of the top 12 communities in the state with coronavirus cases. Framingham ranks 14th in the state for the population.

The good news is 1,413 individuals have recovered.
In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 95 residents in quarantine.
There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.
So roughly, 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.
The City announced last week instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
