FRAMINGHAM – Paola (Spagnolo) Pecorella, 89, of Framingham passed away Monday June 22, 2020 after a period of declining health. 

Born in Salemi, Italy to the late Paolo and Francesca (Bugaria) Spagnolo, she was the wife of the late Luciano Pecorella who died in 2019. 

She moved to Framingham in 1969 with her family, worked at the Bancroft military hat co. till 1977, followed by Fenwal Inc. till her retirement in 1996.

She was a petite gentle lady who always worried about everyone else, she enjoyed her grandkids and making sure there was always food on the table, whether you were hungry or not.  She excelled at making cookies.

Paola is survived by three children, Paul Pecorella and his wife Darlene of Framingham, Nancy Flanders and her husband James of Ravenna, OH, and Joseph Pecorella of Framingham, seven grandchildren, Christopher Pecorella, Cindy (Flanders) Ursell, David Flanders, Andrew Pecorella, Michael Flanders, Alexandra Pecorella, and Kaitlyn Pecorella  8 great-grandchildren, Samantha Ursell, Emmalee Ursell, Steven Ursell, Luca Flanders, Liam Ursell, Denise Pecorella, Cian Flanders, Ella Flanders, one brother, Joe Spagnolo and his wife Mimi and their family from Warwick, RI, aunt to Ezia Leach and her husband Martin of Ct and their two children Daniel and Sedona.  She was the sister of the late Giovanna Spagnolo of Framingham and aunt to the late Lisa (Spagnolo) Ghenne.  She was the mother of the late Pino Pecorella who died at the age of 3.

A private service will be held.
