FRAMINGHAM – On Framingham’s 320th anniversary of incorporation, a new Facebook page was officially launched to celebrate and spread positive news about the city.

The page called “Celebrate Framingham” (www.facebook.com/celebrateframingham) started by local business owner and community activist Mary Kate Feeney, highlights the people, places, events that make Framingham a wonderful place to live, work and play.

“Framingham is a special place. Time and time again our neighbors lend a hand to help those in need or make our home a better place, especially as we are all living in the “new normal” of the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt we needed a way online to celebrate these positive stories and celebrate who we are as a community,” said Feeney, who runs local marketing agency Dockside Media.

Let’s share the positive news from our neighborhoods, photos of the day showing the beauty of our city, and highlight the fun events happening throughout Framingham. Celebrate Framingham’s goal is to share our pride in our city.

Submissions are encouraged.

“Crowd sourcing positive news and photos will make this page a success,” said Feeney.

Photographers are also encouraged to submit their work for the photo of the day. Credit is always given for submissions.

To share your good news or photos, please email celebrateframingham@gmail.com or send a message directly to the Celebrate Framingham Facebook page.

Let’s spread the positivity about Framingham!
