FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Parks & Recreation’s summer centers have a new look and a new name!

The ‘Loring Recreation Center’ will take their place and offer a weekly activity option for “half-day” (9 a.m. to noon) or “full-day” (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to help fulfill family needs.

Although this Summer’s ‘Loring Recreation Center’ will not look like the Recreation Center’s in past years, City staff will still provide a safe, non-competitive environment where children age 5-10 years will participate in unique activities that allow them to challenge and express themselves while building self-esteem.

This program is designed to offer a wide variety of activities including crafts and games.

Unfortunately, there will be no off-site field trips this year.

The deadline to register is June 29 at 5 p.m.

Scholarships are available for the ‘Loring Recreation Center’.  Please email parks.recreation@framinghamma.gov for details.

Spaces are for Framingham residents only.
