BOSTON – The Commonwealth of Massachusetts reported 125 new COVID-19 cases, and 30 deaths due to the virus.

Massachusetts now has a total of 107,061 positive coronavirus cases as of today.

Overall, Massachusetts now ranks sixth in the United States behind New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois and Texas.

There is no cure and no vaccine for COVID-19, at this time.

The state is reporting 30 new COVID-19 deaths today.

Since the pandemic began Massachusetts has reported 7,858 COVID-19 or complications from the virus deaths.

The state tested 8,363 individuals in the last 24 hours

As of today, the state has tested more than 768,592 individuals.

Middlesex County has the most positive cases at 23,574.

In comparison, Barnstable County (Cape Cod) has 1,515 cases.

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, with just over 1,700 cases

Marlborough is second, with more 950 cases.

The City of Framingham is also among the top 12 communities with coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

John Hopkins University is reporting 8.857 million cases world-wide of the virus.

There are 2.269 million cases in the United States, as of 4 p.m. today.

The United States leads the world in Coronavirus cases, followed by Brazil with 1.03 million-plus cases.

The Centers for Disease Control is reporting 119,615 deaths as of noon, today, including 560 new deaths in the last 24 hours.

The U.S. is leading the world in COVID-19 deaths, with more than 31,000 deaths in New York.
