MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlboroughannounced 2 new coronavirus cases on June 15, for a total of 963 cases, since the pandemic began.

The good news is that 864 individuals have recovered from the virus.

That means more than 89% of those diagnosed during the pandemic in Marlborough have recovered from the virus.

The City reported its 56th death from the virus today.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested in the city of almost 40,000 people.

About 2% of the City’s residents have tested positive for the virus.

Middlesex County has the most positive cases, at more than 22,000.

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, with 1,700 COVID-19 positive cases.

Marlborough is second. The City announced today it will no longer report cases daily but update the public on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.
