FRAMINGHAM – Firefighters extinguished a brush fire in the Saxonville neighborhood of Framingham this morning, June 10.

The fire was near the Ashmont Drive and Oakwood Court neighborhood, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Framingham Engine 2 and Engine 7 responded just after 10:30 a.m.

“Firefighters attacked the brush fire from two angles,” said Chief Dutcher.

The fire was extinguished in aboit 25 to 30 minutes, said the Framingham Fire Chief.

There were no injuries.

No houses were damaged, according to Framingham Fire.
