FRAMINGHAM – Bowditch Field will re-open later this month.

“While each community is reopening at a different pace, I am happy to announce that we have received approval to open Bowditch beginning Monday June 15 from the Health Department and the Mayor’s Office as part of the Phase II Reopening plan,’ said parks & Recreation Director James Snyder.

Walkers and runners may use the track again as of June 15.

The complex has been closed since mid-March, due to the pandemic.

The Governor’s order allowed for walking tracks like Bowditch to re-open as of June 8.

Snyder said the track will be limited to 20 people, and they must wear a face covering.
