FRAMINGHAM – About 125 individuals attended a Black Lives Matter protest at the Memorial Building on Sunday evening, June 7.

This was the second protest at what some also call Framingham City Hall on Sunday.

The protest was organized to “support justice for George Floyd, justice for all, and to protest racism, brutality, and violence.”

Floyd died in May while handcuffed and on the ground, a Minneapolis police officer’s pushed his knee into his neck. That officer and three others were fired the next day when a bystander’s video showed the incident. The FBI is investigating the murder and all four officers have been charged.
