FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Legion will be participating this season in what is called Worcester County Baseball League and will play a 12-14 game schedule against league opponents.

They will play weeknights only, Monday through Friday keeping weekends open for teams who wish to participate in tournaments.

Right now in Zone 4, Milford, Framingham, Shrewsbury, Northboro, Cherry Valley, Leominster, Grafton Hill and Main South hope to start their season around July 8.

All teams are awaiting final approval from the Governor, on allowing games to happen.

Anyone interested in playing Summer baseball in the Worcester County Baseball League should contact Head Coach Bunkie Smith at 508-816-6647.

If you turn 20 years of age in the calendar year you are not able to participate due to age rules.

There will be a meeting on Saturday morning June 13 at 10 a.m. for players interested in playing in the 2020 season at Bowditch Field, in the area where the visitors baseball stands are outside the baseball field.

All players are required to wear a mask at that meeting and we will practice social distancing as well.
