FRAMINGHAM – Under the Governor’s order playgrounds, parks, skate parks, dog parks, trails, tennis courts, etc all opened today, June 8, under the Commonwealth’s Phase II re-opening plan.

But Bowditch Field was still closed for walkers today. Swings were still missing from playgrounds in Framingham today, and the skate park was still blocked off for parking, even though there were youths & adults using the skate park this evening.

SOURCE asked the City of Framingham & Parks & Recreation when Bowditch Field would re-open.

The City of Framingham’s Public Information Officer Kelly McFalls told the news outlet “we will be making an announcement regarding status Wednesday.”

The news outlet also asked when the barriers would be removed from the skate park? When the playgrounds would re-open? when the swings would be put back at the playgrounds? and when the tennis nets will go back up?

SOURCE did not ask about the basketball nets, as under the Governor’s phase II plan contact sports like basketball are still not allowed.
