FRAMINGHAM – The following is City of Framingham, MassDOT, and utility road construction projects in the City of Framingham the week fo June 7, 200.

All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.

As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.

Beacon Street/Summer Street Intersection Improvements:Miscellaneous punch list items will be addressed at the intersection of Beacon Street/Summer Street. Expect minor delays.

Beaver Street Bridge
: Bridge work continues. The bridge will be closed to through traffic and pedestrians until Fall 2020. A detour will be in effect at all times.

Brigham Road Sewer Main Replacement: Sewer main installation continues. Brigham Road will be open to residents only.

Cedar Street (from Waverly Street to Winthrop Street) Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Gas main installation continues on Cedar Street from Waverly Street to Winthrop Street. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect delays at times.

Eames Street and Pratt Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will begin relaying gas main on Eames Street and Pratt Street.A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect delays at times.

Hillcrest and Berkshire Water Main Replacement: The Water Division will continue installing a temporary water bypass in anticipation of water main installation. Hillcrest Road and Berkshire Road will be open to residents and emergency vehicles only.

Marble Street: Miscellaneous punch list items will be addressed on Marble Street, Waverly Street (near Marble Street), and Blandin Avenue (near Marble Street). Expect minor delays.

Union Avenue and Pearl Street Utilities: Construction site cleanup continues—also, miscellaneous curbing/sidewalk repair work. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic. A one-lane alternating traffic pattern will be in effect at times. Expect moderate delays at times.

Worcester Road Water and Sewer Improvements: The temporary water main along Worcester Road will be removed. The Contractor will begin paving trenches.  One lane will be closed on Worcester Road/Rt.9 East. Expect delays. Construction is scheduled Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
