National Weather Service Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch

BOSTON – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for MetroWest today, June 6 from now until 8 p.m.

The storms will be scattered and thus not all areas of the Commonwealth will experience them, said the National Weather Service.

Weather service said the greatest chance for a thunderstorm in Greater Framingham is between 4 and 5 p.m.

There is a chance for multiple storm to roll through the area.

High temperatures today could reach 88 degrees.

Chance of precipitation is 60%.

There is a slide chance of showers and thunderstorms around 9 p.m. and additional rain through midnight, said the weather service.
